Hiking provides an escape from my keyboard and a way to reconnect with the wildness of nature.
More about Hiking
I've loved hiking since I was a kid when my Dad and I would go up to the lost coast of California. Since then I've hiked the high deserts of Utah,the fjords of Norway, Berserkjahraun in Iceland, and as close as Lake Temescal in Oakland, with my Mom. Hiking lets me escape modern life for a time and imagine I live in the wilds of years past.
